Principal's Message
Dear Lockwood Families,
As we step into the month of April, we are excited to share the latest updates and events happening at Lockwood. This spring, we are focused on fostering growth, both academically and personally, for all of our students.

Midterm - 3rd Quarter Progress Reporting Period
Progress reports will be available via ParentVue by April 22
Not everyone will receive a 3rd quarter progress report. 3rd quarter report cards are utilized only for students who are presently below standard in one or more academic areas, or for whom an improvement in behavior needs to be communicated formally.
Accessing ParentVue
A single username and password allow parents to access information for all of their children, regardless of the grade level or school of attendance. Each parent has an individual account that covers all children.
If you are already registered, use the ParentVUE login.
If you have never used ParentVUE, you will need to request an activation key. If you have accessed ParentVUE in the past or enrolled online, please click the "Forgot Password" link on the ParentVUE login page.

Parental Input Form 2025 – 2026 Class Assignment
The form is for parents who would like to provide input regarding classroom placement for the next school year. Our staff carefully considers placement options based on our understanding of your child's needs. Parents may have additional insights that help us ensure a productive year. Completion of this form is optional and parents wishing to share input should complete this online form by MAY 9, 2025. We do not accept specific teacher requests.

April 17th: Lockwood Career Day
Inspire young minds and join us for Career Day at Lockwood!
On April 17th we welcome parents to Lockwood to share with our kids what they do for a passion, vocation, or career. We’re looking for 3 different professions for each classroom. Whether you have time to present to one class or several classes throughout the day, we appreciate whatever time you have.
Career Day is important to show the kids what their futures may hold and envision themselves in various occupations.
Please consider signing up and making this day happen!
Bringing Toys and Recess Equipment from Home
Please help remind our Leopards to keep personal toys and play equipment, like balls at home. This is for a variety of reasons including risk of damage or loss, inequity, and potential conflict over personal items. We have lots of school equipment for everyone at recess.
Change in After School Plans
Any change to your student’s routine must be validated by a note from parent/guardian. If a note is not possible, please call the office 425.408.5800 by 3:30 pm on M/T/Th/F, and 1:30 pm on Wednesdays to ensure your student’s teacher is able to make any needed arrangements. Emailing staff is not always reliable due to absences or substitutes.
