Principal's Message
A Fast Finish to a Fantastic Year!
As we wrap up another incredible school year, I want to take a moment to thank you for your continued support, partnership, and trust. This year has been filled with learning, growth, and joyful moments, and none of it would be possible without our dedicated staff, amazing students, and supportive families.
We are so proud of all our students and their accomplishments. Whether it's academic progress, personal growth, or acts of kindness, each child has contributed something special to our school community.
Wishing you all a safe, relaxing, and fun-filled summer. We look forward to welcoming everyone back in the fall, refreshed and ready for another great year!
Sam Ramirez

Summer Use of Chromebook & Opt Out Information
Students currently in grades 2-5 returning to ANY NSD school for the 2025-26 school year keep their assigned Chromebook over the summer for educational use.
- Students and families are expected to take care of their assigned devices by following NSD Chromebook Care guidelines, keeping it charged and in the protective case when not in use.
- 2024-25 Device Protection Program (DPP) will continue through the summer. Families who have not already purchased are encouraged to do so. Additional information about DPP can be found at: go.nsd.org/DPP
- Families may decline to keep a device over the summer by completing the opt-out form by Monday, June 9th. Link to the opt-out form: https://go.nsd.org/optout.
- For support using their device, troubleshooting technical issues, or reporting damage over the summer, families should create a help ticket at http://go.nsd.org/studenttechhelp.
If your student will NOT be returning to an NSD school for the 2025-26 school year and you have not already advised the Lockwood office, please complete this form as soon as possible: go.nsd.org/LWWithdrawal.

We are making plans to close out the school year in the Health Room. This includes ensuring that the remaining medication your child has at school will get home in a safe manner. Please make arrangements for a parent or guardian to sign out and pick up the medication at school.
Any medication left in the building after 4pm on June 20th will be disposed of. Students with life threatening conditions must have their medications on-site until the last day they attend. No students are allowed to transport medicines. Please reach out with any questions to troufs@nsd.org or 425-408-5806.

Students NOT Returning to LW Next Year
If your student will not be returning to Lockwood or enrolling in an NSD middle school for the 2025–26 school year, please let us know as soon as possible by completing this Google Form: https://go.nsd.org/lwwithdrawal.
Families withdrawing from the Northshore School District are expected to return all district-issued devices and accessories, including bags and chargers, before the student’s last day.
Please email any questions to Sonja Gill-More at sgillmore@nsd.org.
Change in After School Plans
Any change to your student’s routine must be validated by a note from parent/guardian. If a note is not possible, please call the office 425.408.5800 by 3:30 pm on M/T/Th/F, and 1:30 pm on Wednesdays to ensure your student’s teacher is able to make any needed arrangements. Emailing staff is not always reliable due to absences or substitutes.
