Emergency Preparedness - Reunification Process
|
Throughout the school year, our staff regularly practices emergency procedures to ensure student safety. Wednesday, we conducted a practice drill of our Reunification Process—the official protocol used when an event prevents us from sending students home through standard dismissal routes or buses. A special thank you to Lockwood parent volunteers Jen Carr, Renae Ranade, Xiaomei Mo, and Emilienne Moll for participating in the drill and helping us strengthen our emergency-response procedures! |

Celebrating October at Lockwood
As we look forward to October, we want to remind families that Lockwood will continue our tradition of celebrating the season without costumes during the school day.
Students will enjoy fall-themed activities, art projects, and classroom celebrations throughout the month.
Families who enjoy costumes are invited to join the PTA’s Trunk-or-Treat on October 30. We hope to see you there!
Thank you for helping us make October a joyful and inclusive experience for all students.

🚗 Transportation Reminder |
If your student’s transportation changes for the day, please send a parent/guardian note to the office or call the office at 425-408-5800 by 3:00 p.m. (1:30 p.m. Wednesdays).
The last hour of the day is one of our busiest times, so advance notice helps us make sure every student gets home safely and to the correct dismissal location. Please don’t rely on email alone for transportation changes.
Thank you for helping us keep dismissal safe and organized!
